You signed up for Easy Life: here’s everything you need to know

Splendid! You hire a domestic help. Our cleaning troops are eager to get your home spic and span. There are five steps before your new domestic helper rings your doorbell. Discover them below. You’ll also learn how to give us feedback and find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How do I get started?

Step 1: Easy Life kicks off for you

The search for your new domestic helper starts immediately after you have completed the application form. Your local Easy Life office will get to work for you. And that can go quickly. Usually the suitable household help is found within 2 working days. Will it take a little longer? Then we will keep you informed. This way you are always up to date with the search process.

Step 2: And now what? The phone interview!

After your application you will receive a phone call. In it you tell us the order and size of the areas to be cleaned and any other wishes. Be sure to pick up when an unknown number calls you.

Step 3: Get the right cleaning products at home.

Make sure that the household help can get started with the right material.

Step 4: Register with Service Checks Flanders or Brussels

To use service cheques, you must be registered with Service Checks Flanders or Service Checks Brussels.

  1. Create an account via this link for Flanders, and this link for Brussels.
  2. You will be given a user number.
  3. Share this number with your Easy Life office as soon as possible.

Step 5: Order electronic service vouchers

You can request electronic service checks in various ways. Choose which way suits you:

  • Via the Service Checks app .
There is an app for Flanders and one for Brussels. Sign up, choose the number of checks you want and pay by online transfer.
  • Order in the secure zone :
The platform of the Flemish or Brussels government. A user-friendly online environment where you manage service vouchers.
  • Are you at KBC or Belfius?
You can easily purchase service checks via their smartphone app.

Step 6: Drring! Your domestic help comes for the first time

1

Your domestic help rings the bell.

She got all your information from the office.
2

You give a tour of the house.

Tell the domestic help what he or she brushes first and what to do when there is time left. Also agree on how the household help will indicate when products are empty.
3

Do you give a house key to the household help?

This is useful when you are not at home.
4

Feet up!

The household help already comes by with the vacuum cleaner.
5

Approve that day's performance in the app.

'Service checks Flanders' or 'Service checks Brussels'. The payment is automatic.
6

You will receive a phone call from us.

Be sure to contact us, we will go over the first day and adjust where necessary.
7

During the first months we will follow you closely by telephone and SMS.

This way we can be sure that you are and will remain satisfied.

It is no coincidence that we call you. Your feedback is very important. In the next step you will read about how Easy Life is committed to staying informed about how satisfied you are.

Despite everything, still a bit dissatisfied?

Let us hear from you.

Dirt in the air? Contact your Easy Life office , the umbrella customer service (0800 62080) or the online customer zone.

Please also answer our six-weekly email, containing these three questions:

  1. How likely are you to recommend Easy Life to a friend or colleague?
  2. How satisfied are you with the service provided by your office?
  3. Do you have any feedback about your domestic help?

How do we solve it?

  1. Do you really not click with your household help? Request an alternative.

You can switch household help, which is easy and free.

  2. Does your domestic help still have some room for improvement?

Do you continue to see stripes on the windows, or your laundry does not become wrinkle-free? Coaching is the ideal solution. An experienced coach comes along with the household help: together they smooth out the folds again.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What if I am not at home for a while and want to take a break from the domestic help?

Then give your household help a break at least two weeks in advance. Let us know via the Easy Life customer zone and we will inform the household help. This way you can explore the wide world without any worries.

What if my domestic help is not on time?

You agree the starting time in advance with your household help. Your household help cannot enter without a house key. Therefore, wait at least fifteen minutes when your domestic help is late. Is he or she still not here? Then you can leave and at least you don’t have to pay for the cleaning.

How often does my domestic help come?

Every home is different. It is therefore difficult to estimate the required working hours in advance. You can choose from a weekly or biweekly brushing of three or four hours. Discuss with our experienced consultants what suits you and your home.

How much do service checks cost?

You always order a minimum of 10 service checks at €9/cheque. With each check you reimburse one working hour of your cleaning assistant. You can buy the last 100 checks at €10. Nice to know: the effective prices of service vouchers are lower.

In Flanders you have a tax benefit of €1.80 per cheque. In the Brussels-Capital Region this is €1.35. This tax deduction is automatically deducted from your tax-on-web return.

Professional help offered, listen to the help as well as to the customer.
